vWorker.com Builds An Awesome Marketplace of 348,460 Virtual Workers (Part 1)
(Part 2)
.
How do you build one of the world’s largest outsourcing marketplaces for freelancers?

Joining me from Tampa, FL is Ian Ippolito, Founder & CEO of vWorker.com (formerly RentACoder.com), an online portal and virtual employment agency that enables companies to outsource projects and independent contractors to find work.

Together with Elance, Freelancer, Guru, oDesk and ScriptLance, it is one of the largest global freelance marketplaces of its kind.

vWorker was called "One of the 100 most brilliant companies" by Entrepreneur magazine, and has been profiled in the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Fast-Company and many other journals and magazines. It is a 3-time consecutive winner of the INC 5000 "fastest growing private company in the U.S.” award.

I always wish to meet this kind of person to learn and make an inspiration in my own my mind.

If all companies would have the approach of Ian Ippolito, the world would likely be a better place.

I've used the vworker-service in probably close to a hundred projects, and I love the service, too.

A lively, interesting and inspiring interview! I'm sure many entrepreneurs have had the experience of building a product only to find nobody wants it, but not all have learned from it. Listening to Ian describe how he went from one project to another I couldn't help thinking "yep, it was only a matter of WHEN he succeeded, not IF"! Oh, and I can now appreciate why vWorker goes to such lengths to verify credit cards.
